Privacy Policy
Effective September 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SGC Marketing, LLC (“SGC Marketing,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit sgc-marketing.com (the “Site”) or use our services.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, company name, mailing address.
- Billing information — bank account details for ACH, billing address, and payment history. Full payment card numbers are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
- Communications — messages you send us by form, email, or phone, and records of our correspondence.
- Account and project information — material you provide so we can perform services, which may include access credentials to your own marketing and analytics platforms.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and dates and times of access.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics providers, from your own platforms where you grant us access, and from publicly available sources.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services and the Site.
- To process payments and manage billing, including ACH debits as described in our Payment & ACH Policy.
- To communicate with you about projects, invoices, support, and service changes.
- To send marketing communications, where permitted — you can opt out at any time.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where required by law, we process personal information on the basis of: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business, where not overridden by your rights; your consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers — payment processors, hosting providers, email and CRM platforms, and analytics vendors who process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Advertising and analytics platforms — where you engage us to manage campaigns, we act on your accounts with those platforms under your direction.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where necessary.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and — where applicable — support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.
Before launch: if this Site deploys Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, or a consent management platform, list each one here with its purpose, and confirm the consent banner configuration matches what this section describes.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a portable copy of information you provided to us.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Opt out of marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — including to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements — and then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-party sites
The Site may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date, and where changes are material, provide additional notice.
